New Baby Names

The popular names lists tend to change very slowly over a number of years, so slowly that it may seem like they never change. But every year there are new baby names which enter the lists from nowhere. This may be due to an event or the prominence of an individual with that name.

Whatever the reason, we have a list of the new baby names for 2003-2004 and 1999-2004. It will give you an idea of the names that grew in popularity over that time. You may even be able to determine a reason for the change.
